El éxito de la Prueba cicloturista BLAN en su 65.Edición

Tras 3 años la Prueba Cicloturista BLAN vuelve más fuerte que nunca. En su 65 edición vuelve a demostrar que su organización, el buen ambiente y su recorrido son la clave del éxito y su perduración en el calendario cicloturista.
 
A las 7:00 de la mañana Medizorroza comenzaba a llenarse de cicloturistas dispuesto a afrontar el circuito de la Prueba BLAN, 154km a lo largo de las provincias que dan nombre a la prueba: Burgos, La Rioja, Álava y Navarra. Con un café caliente y los últimos consejos, la salida comenzaba a llenarse siendo la salida a las 8:00h de la mañana.
 
Tras pasar pueblos de la Llanada Alavesa, llegar al Puerto de Azaceta, Santa Cruz de Campezo llegaron a Viana, para reponer fuerzas en el primer avituallamiento líquido y sólido. A las 10:40 la grupeta cruzaba Logroño, Laguardia, Labastida con las espectaculares vistas que ofrecía la Rioja Alavesa y sus viñedos. Una vez pasado el segundo avituallamiento en Zambrana, los participantes se dirigieron a Treviño para encarar el Puerto de Zaldiaran y regresar a Vitoria.
 
Tras cruzar una meta, rodeada de espectadores que animaban la llegada de los ciclistas, se cerraban una gran jornada con una paellada y un intercambio de anécdotas de una edición de prueba BLAN muy esperada.
 
Aitor Sáenz de Cámara, coordinador del evento, se ha mostrado muy satisfecho con la jornada: «El día ha salido perfecto. Han participado más de 500 personas, el buen tiempo nos ha acompañado y el circuito estaba espectacular. Aunque la prueba es exigente, el buen ambiente y el compañerismo han hecho que prácticamente el 100% de los y las participantes hayan cruzado la meta cumpliendo su objetivo.»
 
Dorsales agotados
Esta edición ha contado con la presencia de más de 500 participantes que han agotado las inscripciones días antes de la celebración. La participación femenina va cogiendo presencia, con un 10% de mujeres.
 
Prueba histórica
La BLAN comenzó a organizarse el 4 de septiembre de 1955 por la Sociedad Cicloturista Vitoriana y tras 65. ediciones, las nuevas generaciones han cogido el testigo con la misma ilusión que sus creadores. Además, para esta última edición, la Sociedad alcanzó un acuerdo con Ascentium para organizar la marcha y así, continuar con la prosperidad de la carrera y seguir ofreciendo a los y las cicloturistas una marcha que marca la diferencia.
